Cavalry “Stetson.”
Description: Worn by Cavalry soldiers in the Army. Though the individual soldier was allowed use what ever hat brand they wanted, we called them all Stetsons. When there was a formation or ceremony where they were worn they’d say, “wear your Stetsons.”
Felt: Choose from 100% wool, 100% rabbit 5% beaver with 95% rabbit, 20% beaver with 80% rabbit, 50% beaver with 50% rabbit, 100% nutria or 100% beaver.
Crown: Let us know which crown shape you’d prefer: Traditional Cavalry Stetson crown, the “Killgore” which is what Robert Duval wore in the movie “Apocalypse Now,” coffin shaped top crown, cattleman crown, teardrop crown, the Gus crown, round top/telescope crown, minick crown, brick crown, West Texas punch crown or fedora crown. If you have a different idea let us know and we will make it for you.
Brim: Default is the traditional Cavalry 3” brim with a pull down front and back and a slight lift on the sides. You can chose the shape and length crown you’d prefer. If you choose for me to get the Stetson brand hat the brim cannot be longer than 3”.
Hat band/cord: You can choose from any color of acorns available in this collection. They are free with the purchase of the hat, just let us know which color you need.
Crossed sabers: Comes with crossed sabers for free. If you’re a Tanker let us know and we will get the tanker crossed sabers for you. If you are a Cavalry Scout let us know your regiment, if a company makes them we will get your regimental crossed sabers. Skill badges and deployment badges not included.

If you are not a soldier or veteran, you can still get this hat. Just as long as you do not put a military rank on it it’s not stolen valor.
