Distressed 1800s Cavalry Hat
Description: Worn by Cavalry soldiers in the Army in the 1800s.
Crown: Let us know which crown shape you’d prefer: we can make it as pictured or the Traditional Cavalry Stetson crown, the “Killgore” which is what Robert Duval wore in the movie “Apocalypse Now,” coffin shaped top crown, cattleman crown, teardrop crown, the Gus crown, round top/telescope crown, minick crown, brick crown, West Texas punch crown or fedora crown. If you have a different idea let us know and we will make it for you.
Brim: Default is the traditional Cavalry 3” brim with a pull down front and back and a slight lift on the sides. You can chose the shape and length crown you’d prefer.
Hat cord: default is yellow. Many other colors are available let us know what color you need.
Cross sabers: Comes with cross sabers for free. If you’re a Tanker let us know and we will get the tanker cross sabers for you. If you are a Cavalry Scout let us know your regiment, if a company makes them we will get your regimental cross sabers. Rank, skill badges and deployment badges not included.
Sweatband: Genuine lambskin.
Cowboy toothpick: A horseshoe nail as a cowboy toothpick, on the left side, because that’s the Forged Glory side.
The 100% beaver felt is hard to source. It may take us longer to get.
If you are not a soldier or veteran, you can still get this hat. Just as long as you do not put a military rank on it it’s not stolen valor.
